Waya Island Resort opened in 2023 and is now welcoming guests. With 18 bures and a maximum of 36 guests, our adults-only resort is intimate, private, and utterly unique.

Located in the stunning Yasawa Islands, north west of Nadi, Waya Island Resort is accessible by sea or air.
Daily ferry
South Seas Cruise’s high-speed catamaran will transport you to Waya Island in two hours. The Yasawa Flyer departs Port Denarau (25 minutes from Nadi Airport) at 8.45am daily.
Enjoy air-conditioned spaces, a licensed bar and viewing decks as you journey across the clear lagoons of Fiji’s most beautiful islands. Upgrade to the Captain’s Lounge, with air conditioning, snacks, beer, wine and soft drinks.
Courtesy coach transfers are available from/to Nadi International Airport or selected hotels and resorts in Nadi, Wailoaloa and Denarau regions. Bookings are mandatory.

By air
Maximise your ‘island time’ by flying to Waya Island Resort from Nadi Airport on a 20-minute scenic flight. Experience Fiji from the air with stunning views over lush rain forests and mountain highlands, or over the beautiful islands.
You’ll be greeted at the airport on arrival by a representative from one of our preferred heli partners, who will show you to your helicopter. Upon your return, ground crew will meet your helicopter and show you to the departures area at Nadi International/Domestic Airport.
A minimum of two seats is required to book. Charter rates are also available.

By sea
Private speedboat charter
Journey to Waya Island by a private speedboat charter, a 1.5 hour trip from the mainland. Your private charter will collect you from Vuda Marina or Port Denarau, both a 25-minute drive from Nadi Airport via shuttle, taxi or private transfer.
Your private speedboat will transport you across crystal clear tropical waters, cruising past islands and over coral reefs as you relax into your Fijian holiday.
Private speed boats are available to charter any time during daylight hours, with the last boat to Waya Island leaving at 4pm. Flexible, efficient and tailored to suit your schedule, private speed boats are the perfect way to maximise your time on the island.
